Memorial Day marks the beginning of Summer at DeBordieu, the ocean front community just south of Pawleys Island, SC. The 2013 Memorial Day Weekend will be bigger than ever for residents and guests at this very special place.
In addition to enjoying the natural amenities DeBordieu has to offer, like access to 6 and a half miles of beach, and boating and fishing in one of the most pristine estuaries on the East Coast, DeBordieu members and their guests will have the opportunity to dine at some of the finest facilities around, with increased hours to do so!
The biggest event this Memorial Day Weekend is the Memorial Day Party at the DeBordieu Beach Club on Sunday, May 26th! It will take place from 6-9 on the newly expanded deck! DeBordieu Members and their guests will enjoy some great food, fellowship with friends, and dance the night away with the Deja Vu Band!
This Memorial Day Weekend ushers in the expansion of the dining hours at the DeBordieu Beach Club. From this Friday, May 24, 2013, through the rest of the summer, DeBordieu members and guests can enjoy lunch and dinner on the deck at the Blue Heron Grill! DeBordieu Club expanded the upper level of the Blue Heron Deck toward the ocean during the winter months, doubling the amount of seating available for lunch and dinner service. There’s nothing like enjoying a terrific meal in the great outdoors, overlooking the Atlantic! The Blue Heron Grill will be open Monday & Tuesday from 11:30 AM–4 PM and Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 AM–9 PM. There will be special events, including Family Night & Bingo, held at the Blue Heron all summer long. Look for details in the June edition of the DeBordieu Club newsletter and online.
Fine dining at the ocean front DeBordieu Beach Club expands this weekend to include Thursday – Sunday Evenings 6 – 9 PM, and will continue my favorite….. Sunday Brunch 10 AM – 2 PM. (The Eggs Benedict is to die for.)
Golf at DeBordieu Club on this Memorial Day Weekend looks like this: Friday & Saturday, May 24-25 • Shotgun Starts at 8:30 AM & 1:30 PM. Double Tee each day off Holes #1 and #10. Regular tee times on Sunday, May 26. Open for Play on Monday, May 27
Tennis will feature a Memorial Day Mixer, Saturday, May 25 that begins at 9 AM.
