Memorial Day Weekend is always a fun time at DeBordieu, the private ocean front residential community just north of Charleston, SC. This year will be no different as DeBordieu families gather to remember, honor and celebrate. 
Below is a complete schudule of food and beverage options for Memorial Day Weekend at DeBordieu Club, but the weekend would not be complete without everyone’s favorite event, the DeBordieu Club Memorial Day Party! Sunday, May 24th, from 6-9pm, DeBordieu Members and their guests will gather on the Blue Heron Deck and Ocean Front lawn to enjoy good food and live music by “Sea Cruz!”
The fare is $30.00 for Adults, $13.00 for Children (ages 11-15), $10.00 for Children (ages 5-10), Children 4 and under are no charge. Signature Bar is available. (The Beach Club and Blue Heron Grill will be CLOSED for Dinner service on Sunday, May 24 due to the Memorial Day Party.)
One of DeBordieu’s best events of the year, Sping Fling is a great place for DeBordieu property owners to reconnect with neighbors, and meet new ones! It’s a long stan
ding tradition sponsored by the DeBordieu Colony Community Association, DeBordieu Club, and DeBordieu Colony Real Estate. I love it because it’s like a big covered dish dinner and feels alot like a family reunion.
This year’s Spring Fling is Saturday, April 18, 6-9pm at the Pavilion.
The cost is $7.50 per adult/$3.00 per child (ages 5-15) with one dish per family.$17.50 per adult/$6.00 per child (ages 5-15) with no dish. Children 4 and under are free.
If you are going to bring a dish, it should feed 12-15 people and fit into the following categories: Salad, Vegetable, Pasta/Potato, or Dessert.
BYOB-Mixers and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
The hosts are Becky and Dean Mann and Lettie and Ed Furbee.

PREPAY ON CLUB ACCOUNT: In an effort to expedite check-in the evening of Spring Fling, Club Members are encouraged to prepay on your club account when making a reservation. Payment by cash will be accepted at check-in but could result in long lines.

Easter Weekend at DeBordieu has gotten to be one of the biggest weekends of the year at this private ocean front residential community just north of Charleston, South Carolina. DeBordieu is big on family friendly events, and this Easter Weekend is full of them! Here’s the schedule: 
BREAKFAST with the EASTER BUNNY!
Saturday, April 4th • 8:30-10:30 AM at the Clubhouse – Hop on over to the Clubhouse to greet the Easter Bunny in the Parlor and dine from the Breakfast Buffet! A petting zoo will be available from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. DeBordieu Club’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 11 AM in the Courtyard behind the Clubhouse. Don’t forget to bring your Easter Basket and Camera to capture all the fun memories! Cost: $14 for Adults, $10.50 for Children (11-15), $8.50 Children (5-10) and Children 4 and under dine with our compliments. The menu will include: Omlette 
Station, Pecan French Toast, Blueberry Pancakes, Home Fried Potatoes, Grits, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, Danishes, Biscuits, Gravy and Assorted Sweets. Hat’s off to the DeBordieu Home and Garden Club for planning “High Tea and Hot Fashions” to benifit AMIkids, March 12, 2015 at the DeBordieu Clubhouse.
DeBordieu, a private, ocean front residential community just north of Charleston, SC, is the perfect place for such an event, and the magnificent clubhouse is the perfect setting.
Festivities will begin with a Silent Auction where a lovely array of items will be available to purchase.
Attenders will also be given an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a beautiful framed oil painting generously donated by DeBordieu Resident, Patty Shortt.
“As you enter the Ballroom you will be offered a glass of Champagne, Sherry or Sparkling Cider. The fashion show will introduce new spring fashions from local shops and modeled by our own beautiful women of DeBordieu. Everyone who attended last year knows how much fun the models and audience had during the show.” High Tea will follow the show featuring delectable tea sandwiches, scones and delicious pastries.
The DeBordieu Home and Garden Club has chosen AMIKids for this year’s charity. “Our youth face a variety of challenges: violence, family dysfunction, and the pressure of using drugs and alcohol.
