Yahoo!!!! Construction of the new DeBordieu Club Fitness Center will commence in the next few weeks.
The Fitness Center will be built adjacent and connected to the existing Tennis building. At 3,500 square feet it will be slightly larger than the existing building, and will mirror its appearance. Construction is expected to take about six months.
More details of the Fitness Center and its operations will be made available over the next few months. Here is a representation of the new fitness center as viewed from the tennis courts.
DeBordieu is delighted to be a part of the ANNUAL THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE for Helping Hands of Georgetown & The Salvation Army.
DeBordieu residents will be dropping off their donations of canned and non-perishable food items at the Golf Clubhouse
until November 1.
The Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will help feed 400 Georgetown County families this Thanksgiving.
Helping Hands and The Salvation Army are grateful for the following items:
Rice
Boxed Potatoes
Gravy
Cranberry Sauce
Yams
Stuffing Mix
Macaroni and Cheese
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruit
Pie Crust/Fruit Filling
Cake Mix/Frosting
Cornbread/Biscuit Mix
Two very convenient spots have opened up to accept donations for victims of the floods in South Carolina. DeBordieu Colony Real Estate has a truck in it’s parking lot ready being loaded as I type this, and our new sister company, Tidelands in Pawleys Isalnd is also accepting donations.

DeBordieu Creek Night is one of the most delicious traditions at DeBordieu, the private ocean front community just north of Charleston, South Carolina.
Oysters, flounder, and all kinds of delicious side dishes prepared by DeBordieu residents will be enjoyed at the DeBordieu Beach Club Pavilion (a.k.a. the Old Beach Club) Thursday night, October 15 from 6-9.
DeBordieu Creek Night is a community function Co-Chaired this year by DeBordieu residents Beth & Mike Jordan and Lee & Mike Piepenbring, and sponsored in part by DeBordieu Colony Real Estate.
