A nice couple from Virginia is coming to take a look at DeBordieu later this week, and want to know what they can get here for a Million Bucks.
They like the sound of all DeBordieu offers in the way of amenities (private golf, private beach club, great creeks for boating, tons of nature, and 24 hour manned security), but they want to know what kind of home their $1Mill will buy.
In preparation for their visit, I’ve put together this collection of DeBordieu homes priced at about $1,000,000 or a smidge less, for their consideration, and for yours! Some of these homes are on the mainland, golf course, and forest communities next to Hobcaw Barony, the 17,000 acre nature preserve next door to DeBordieu.
Many of our full –time owners on the mainland appreciate the quick access to the entrance and security gate so they can travel a quick 5 miles north to shopping, dining, and schools, in Pawleys Island, or about 4 miles south to Georgetown, with access to marinas, waterfront dining, and a great hospital.
Other Million Dollar homes are in DeBordieu’s island community, giving quick access to DeBordieu’s 6 and ½ miles of secluded beach. Some of these homes have lovely lagoon views, others have access to channels that lead to the creek system of North Inlet, one of the most pristine estuaries on the East Coast.
DeBordieu Colony is a very private community on the coast of South Carolina, between Charleston and Myrtle Beach, just south of Pawleys Island.
In addition to miles of secluded beach, boat landing access to North Inlet, and a 24-hour manned security gate, the private, equity DeBordieu Club offers Pete Dye golf, a tennis center and an ocean front Beach Club with fine dining, a gazebo bar, two pools, and a playground. There is truly no place like DeBordieu. Come see for yourself.
