Today we’re going to talk about hair! Having lived in the Pawelys Island area for about 30 years, I think I’ve been to just about every salon in Pawleys Island. There are so many good ones!!!! For the last few years I choose to get “STELLArized” at The Island Day Spa. Stella Notaro is probably the best colorists I’ve ever used. She puts about 50 shades of blonde in my hair making it look very natural. (ok…. really only 2 or 3 at a time). And I know what you’re thinking….. “Troi colors her hair? I would have never thought that…..) ha!
Stella’s haircuts are exactly what her customers want. She will make suggestions, but if you only want a 1/4 inch off the ends…. that’s what she does. I always leave there happy and feeling great about my hair….which if you know me well, you know how I have struggled with this mess on top of my head since the beginning of time. Stella gives me tips on how to fix it like she does, minimizing the frizz and giving it the lift I need.
