Don’t freak out….
There are only two (2) officially distressed properties in DeBordieu Colony as of this writing, and not that many in the Pawleys Island area.
The interesting thing buyers need to remember about DeBordieu Colony real estate, and properties in the Pawleys Island area in general, is that things are not always what they seem. Just because a property is not listed as a distressed sale, (like a foreclosure, bank-owned, REO or short sale), does not mean you can’t get a home, villa or lot at a distressed property price.
For those buyers who are interested in considering short sales and foreclosures, I offer the properties herein for your review. (Click on the pictures to get to the listing info.) However, if these don’t meet your search parameters, call me at 843-455-4523, and I’ll be happy to direct you to properties wherein sellers have said “BRING ME AN OFFER.”
Very often, a seller will sell at a price that is less than their mortgage, and unfortunately, are forced into a “short sale” situation. There are some owners in DeBordieu Colony, Pawleys Island, Murrells Inlet and Georgetown that will sell for less, but don’t want to reduce their list price, with hopes of squeezing as much as they can out of the house.
So don’t JUST look at foreclosures and short sales at DeBordieu Colony, and in the Pawleys Island area. The most important thing is getting the property that best suites the needs of you and your family, for the price it’s worth. Let me help you with that!
