The first annual Georgetown Artwalk is this weekend!
One of the best reasons to live in DeBordieu, the private Ocean Front community just north of Charleston, SC, is that it’s right smack dab in the middle of Georgetown and Pawleys Island! You get the best of both worlds, and the special events that happen in both of these charming coastal towns. Like this weekend’s Georgetown ARTwalk!
The events will begin on Friday, May 6th from 5 – 7 p.m., with an artwalk to view juried art in the windows along Front Street and a welcome reception for participating artists and the public at the Cultural Council of Georgetown County, 922 Front Street.
A special feature of the Artwalk will be voting for the People’s Choice Award, with designated locations for voters to drop off their ballots beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and ending on 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
On Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 8th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., all of the Georgetown 2016 Artwalk activities will be free and open to the public. Activities include:
