It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the South Carolina lowcountry! It’s time for the 70th Annual Prince George Plantation & Town House Tours in Georgetown, South Carolina. The two day event, (Friday, March 31st and Saturday, April 1st 2017) is hosted by the Women of Prince George Parish in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Every year people come from all over South Carolina and beyond to experience the beauty of the historic plantations and get a glimpse into the lives of these once wealthy plantation owners.
Friday’s schedule is full of gorgeous plantations along the Santee River, a few in Pawleys Island, just to the north, plus beautiful town homes in the historic district of the charming seaport community of Georgetown.
