Jeff, Kelly and I hopped on Norwegian Cruise Line’s new ship, the GETAWAY and cruised to the Caribbean last week. We snorkeled in St. Marten, went shopping in St. Thomas, and napped in rainy Nassau.
The Good Stuff: a fabulous hot stone massage in the ship’s spa, playing shuffleboard with Jeff and Kelly until I thought my arm was going to fall off, getting to see the sun SET over the ocean, and getting a great deal on a beautiful new watch!
The Bad Stuff: getting a little sea sick the first day, the rain cancelling our snorkeling excursion in Nassau, and my new Lucien Piccard watch not working right!!!! What’s with that????? (Checking out the warranty first thing Monday.)
Many thanks to our travel agent and cruise expert, Paula Ford of Travel by Sea or Land, who made all of our arrangements for us, got us a stateroom upgrade, and helped us decide which shore excursions to take. Visit their website at www.travelbyseaorland.com
I didn’t think I could do it, but I actually managed to stay away from my cell phone all week long!
This week I return to a welcome a new family to DeBordieu, facilitate a couple of closings, work with two new buyer clients, and prepare for the big July 4th weekend!
I’m back in the saddle and looking forward to working with sellers of DeBordieu homes, villas and lots who are moving to new spots within DeBordieu, or on to new chapters in their lives elsewhere. And with buyers, who are looking to secure the perfect spot for their families in the Pawleys Island area.
DeBordieu Colony, located just south of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and about an hour north of Charleston, offers luxury homes and villas surrounded by hundreds of acres of wildlife and nature preserves. Protected by a 24-hour manned Security Gate, people who have been to DeBordieu say there is no place quite like this remarkable community. Come see for yourself. Call today to arrange a private appointment, and tour of one of the finest neighborhoods on the South Carolina coast.
