Troi: Thanks for your involvement in the recent purchase of our “dream” home in DeBordieu. Both my wife Sherri and I grew up vacationing in South Carolina. As children, our parents trekked from Pittsburgh PA annually to Hilton Head Island. As young adults, we got engaged on Kiawah Island. As young parents, we took our kids to both. All of our best family and vacation memories are deeply rooted in South Carolina.
Once we enter the DeBordieu entry circle then pass through the security gates, the weight of the world is left behind. Miles and miles of undeveloped conservation land lead to a well planned residential community built to maximize the enjoyment of the ocean and the Country Club while embracing the few who are lucky enough to call it home.
Your friendship AFTER the sale has been the most impressive and has proven to be more valuable than your knowledge of the housing market in DeBordieu. As we settle into our 2nd home, your willingness to guide us to the trusted and well respected venue’s in the area such as restaurants, locally owned retail stores, dry cleaners, physicians, and other service providers, has insured that we feel immediately part of our new community. ~ Gary Wilson, Pittsburg, PA

“What we love about DeBordieu is that we have found the perfect combination of a beach community, a private golf course community, and a nature preserve all within the comfort and security of a gated community.” ~ John and Teresa Parker

“We have been coming to the Pawleys Island area since 1981 with life-long friends of ours who loved this area as much as we did. In 1987, while shopping in downtown Chicago, my wife ran into a women wearing a “Litchfield by the Sea” sweatshirt, who told her that Edens and Avant had just purchased the DeBordieu property and were going to bring in Pete Dye to design a new 18 hole course!
When Myrna called me at work to relay the story, I immediately called my friend who was in D. C. on business and asked him to question his S. C. contacts to see if they could enlighten him about this
The next evening, he called and told me to wire him $5,ooo dollars… he was going to put a deposit on a lot with a spectacular view on DeBordieu’s 12th hole for me.
